The one limiting factor to your UTV when attempting to make more power is the fuel system. More specifically, the fuel injectors max out their duty cycle and efficiency the moment you tune your machine. Due to the increase in boost pressure, fuel needs to be added to the mixture to even out the additional air produced by the turbocharger. The other disadvantage to the stock injectors is that they canât handle much more than 93 octane. Once ethanol is introduced to the mix, the stock injectors begin to break down since they are not capable of handling a higher ethanol content than 10% which is what pump gas contains.
